When the team at Jackton Distillery started their journey of realising their dream to open a local distillery and brewhouse, they never could have imagined that they would find themselves in the situation they do today, with the country in the grip of a pandemic, families kept apart and key workers bravely facing down their fears to keep the country going. It’s not all doom and gloom though, families are spending more time with each other, communities are rallying round to help one another so that we can all get though the craziness of lockdown together.

With talk of people going back to work, it is key now more than ever for us to stay safe and protect not just ourselves, but those around us, the families and friends we love and care for. We have had our share of Coronavirus cases in East Kilbride and our friends at Jackton Distillery want to do their part to help stop the spread of the virus. They have put developing their new product range on hold to produce a hand sanitiser, and every purchase of RAER antibacterial hand sanitiser helps to provide hand sanitiser to some of the most vulnerable members of the community free of charge through the local charity.
